Design Brief
The brief for this project was deeply personal, an opportunity for myself and my team to create a visualisation of a forever family home in a place that has long felt like a second home. Positioned on a breathtaking plot bordering the Akamas National Forest in Cyprus, with uninterrupted views overlooking Latchi Harbour, the project reimagines the site of a derelict villa as a striking contemporary residence of exposed concrete, light, and calm architectural simplicity.
Having spent years creating aspirational visualisations for clients, this design became something far more meaningful: a home shaped not only by architecture, but by memory, landscape, and family life. Every aspect of the vision was carefully considered to embrace the surrounding natural beauty, creating a timeless retreat designed to be experienced and enjoyed for generations to come.
The final design reveals a breathtaking contemporary residence suspended between forest, sea, and sky, a forever home shaped entirely around its extraordinary setting above Latchi Harbour. Clean architectural lines, exposed concrete, and expansive glazing create a sense of calm permanence, while every space is carefully positioned to embrace the endless Mediterranean views stretching across the horizon.
As the visualisation evolved, the home became far more than an architectural statement. It became a deeply personal sanctuary, a place designed for family, connection, and the experience of everyday life immersed in natural beauty. Morning light pours through open living spaces, terraces dissolve into the landscape, and the relationship between interior and exterior feels effortless and timeless.
The result is a refined yet emotional vision of modern Mediterranean living: bold in architecture, grounded in its surroundings, and created not simply as a house, but as a legacy home designed to be lived in and loved for generations.
